Teachers UK are currently recruiting a large number of Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary Schools in Staveley and the surrounding local areas, on day-2-day and long term basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classes in the event of the teacher being absent and ensuring that all students are engaged and on task.

Other duties as a Cover Supervisor include:

  • Deliver pre-planned work across a range of subjects to pupils in KS3/KS4
  • Make sure classrooms are kept tidy
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Report any potential safeguarding concerns
  • Covering a variety of different subjects

The successful candidates will:

  • Have a passion to work with young people
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work well as part of a team but also individually
  • Have strong behaviour management skills

As a Cover Supervisor, the typical school hours are 8:30-15:30 and any variance to this will be confirmed by your consultant prior to your assignment.
