Purpose of Role

Regulatory management of assigned products in UK and Ireland to ensure delivery of the portfolio objectives in line with agreed business strategies

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Obtain and maintain product authorisations in UK and Ireland in line with agreed business objectives through
  • Effective partnership with relevant teams (Sales and Marketing) to represent regulatory and safety positions and facilitate business decisions.
  • Effective management of relations and communication with regulatory authorities and internal EU Regulatory team.
  • Maintain freedom to operate by coordinating and carrying out administrative tasks related to changes in formulation and origin of manufacture.
  • Ensure compliant labelling, in accordance with regulatory authorisations and local packaging and labelling legislation and manage all aspects of label creation and documentation in internal and external databases.
  • Member of the relevant local cross functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and timely advice to commercial and other functions.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of European and national legislation and activities which could impact national existing or future approvals of Plant protection products / Biocides, including Brexit.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Scientific background in one of the disciplines relevant for regulatory (e.g., agricultural science, plant science, food science, environmental science, agronomy, biotechnology, toxicology or other related field)
  • Understanding of regulatory processes
  • Experience in Crop Protection; regulatory experience
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant regional regulations and adjacent legislation, including awareness of issues surrounding Brexit
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
