About Us
Terry Howell is one of the largest independent builders’ merchants in South Wales, with over 60 years’ experience in the industry.

About You
As a ‘Sales Assistant’ you’ll be a vital part of ensuring that our customers get the right care and advice. With this in mind, a summary of your duties include:

  • Dealing with customer queries, calls and transactions
  • Merchandising stock across our store and yard
  • Processing orders for collection and delivery
  • Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Meeting sales objectives through team collaboration
  • Ensuring visual merchandising meets our established brand standards
  • Any other tasks associated with the running of our Pontypool Branch

Days & Hours of Work
Typical working hours/days are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm on a rota basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Counter Sales: 2 years (preferred)
  • Timber/Building Merchant: 1 year (preferred)
