Marks Sattin are excited to be partnered with a private equity backed engineering business in their search for a Cost Accountant to be based from their site near Bradford.

Reporting To The Financial Controller, Responsibilities Include
  • Producing variance analysis and reports on materials and production
  • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
  • Providing monthly financial forecasts
  • Support the finance department to achieve 1-day closing, including posting journal entries
  • Analysis of balance sheet accounts
  • Develop more efficient reporting across financial control
  • Supporting with internal and external audits
  • Reviewing monthly material costs for changes and inconsistencies
  • Work with management and stakeholders to develop ways to improve productivity
The successful candidate will be part qualified ACCA or CIMA, be able to work autonomously, have relevant costings experience from a previous role, be a confident communicator and have strong excel skills.

This exciting opportunity offers plenty of development and scope for progression, a 4 day working week, annual salary of up to £38,000 plus bonus scheme and a fantastic company benefits package.
