Intacept Security are an SIA Approved Contractor seeking a Corporate Security Officer (SIA Licenced) for our customer located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. A flexible approach is required due to the split shift pattern. You may also be required at short notice for extra hours.

Hours:

Monday & Thursday: 0630 - 0830 hours then 1700 - 2000 hours

Tuesday & Wednesday: 0630 - 0900 hours then 1700 - 2000 hours

Friday 0730 - 0830 hours then 1600 -1800 hours.

TOTAL: 24 hours per week

Additional hours: May be requested on occasion.

Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Provide a professional security presence

  • Reception duties (until the day reception staff arrive) - You will be the first person that people will see when visiting the site therefore you will be well presented and have high level of customer service skills.
  • Be polite and professional when dealing with staff and visitors at all times.
  • Unlocking and locking of the site.
  • Act as a deterrent to protect customers, property and staff.
  • Access / egress control.
  • Conduct internal patrols to ensure premises are secure.
  • Follow emergency procedures and liaise with emergency services as required.
  • Follow duties in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
  • Answer the telephone in the absence of the reception staff.
  • Abide with Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements for the role:- A valid SIA Licence, Excellent written and communication skills, Organised with the ability to work on own initiative, Customer service skills is vital.
