Role: Corporate Assistant

NHS Halton CCG and NHS Warrington CCG have an exciting new opportunity for a Corporate Assistant. The CCGs are responsible for commissioning NHS services across the borough, and work with other clinicians, providers, partners and patients to ensure that the needs of local people are met. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude an ability to ‘own’ their portfolio and have ambition to deliver professional outcomes. The base for this new role will be at the new headquarters of the two CCGs at No.1 Lakeside, Centre Park, Warrington but with the flexibility, equipment, and technology to work distantly and remotely.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive administrative and co-ordination support service to members of the Integrated Management Team. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the Chief of Corporate Services/Public Affairs and Engagement and the Corporate Manager with the administration and operational management of a range of initiatives across the corporate services portfolio. Amongst other matters, this will include being the key liaison with Human Resources colleagues, taking a significant role in organisational development and engagement activities and policy management.

The successful applicant will have strong communication skills with the ability to interact across a range of CCG colleagues, including senior managers and external stakeholder organisations.

Working as part of a team the successful applicant will use initiative, develop new ideas, and manage their own workload along with the workload of others, as appropriate. NHS experience is desirable but not essential, but you should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the health and social care environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in a friendly corporate services team, working across both NHS Halton CCG and NHS Warrington CCG.
