Detailed Job Description And Main ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking additional Cook to join our team who will be able to support a wide range of duties which include, maintaining standards of hygiene within the kitchen and associated areas, duties will also include cooking for patients with specific dietary requirements the regeneration cook freeze meals, preparation, cooking and service of hot and cold meals as well as snacks for patients and our retail service. The recording of information in accordance with policies and procedures relating to HACCP in order to prove our due diligence previous experience of working within the catering industry will be essential however the successful candidates will receive on the job training. We are looking for an individual who will work well as part of a team and also able to manage their own time. Working hours between 6.15am to 7.00pm.Basic duties include the preparation and cooking of food for patients, staff, visitors and functions and the maintenance of high standards of quality and hygiene are essential for the post holder.Skills and qualities: -
  • Sufficient experience of working as a Chef Catering for large numbers
  • Flexible approach to work and needs of the service
  • Excellent team worker.
  • Friendly and professional approach
  • Maybe required to work in other units
  • Weekend work included
