Sue Ross Legal are working with an expanding law firm based in the South side of Chesterfield. You will be joining the conveyancing department and will be providing support to a Fee Earner dealing with a full mixed, caseload of residential conveyancing.

Duties will include;

  • Setting up new client files
  • Issuing new client documents and contracts
  • Applying for searches
  • Drafting contracts
  • Drafting legal documents including redemption and completion statements
  • Liaising with clients, other solicitors and estate agents
  • Providing regular updates to clients
  • Handling post completions duties
  • Registering titles at the Land Registry
  • Closing files down

To be considered for this role, you should ideally have experience gained within the conveyancing department of a law firm, either at Assistant level already or have just started your career within conveyancing and are perhaps working at Administration level and looking for the next step up.

You should possess excellent client care and communication skills.

This role is office based but has free parking available.
