We are currently looking for a Conversion Operator to join the Apron Department at Greenock. The position will be on shifts 08:30 – 20:30 and 20:30 – 08:30 on a rotating shift pattern (dayshift/nightshift, including weekends, 7 shifts per fortnight). This will be a 2 month fixed term contract.
Qualifications: We are looking for the successful candidate to be driven, enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work on their own initiative, with minimum supervision. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities: - Operation of conversion lines to produce aprons to specific quality standards.
- React quickly and effectively to overcome faults with the product to minimise scrap levels and increase productivity.
- To carry out duties effectively as required by the production plans, following H&S and environmental procedures, and seek to minimise waste.
- Keeping the department clean and tidy to our high standards.
