Job Title: Control System EngineerLocation: KidderminsterSalary:£40,000 - £50,000Type: PermanentWe are a world leading provider of full turnkey automation machinery solutions for a wide variety of industries. With an extensive history of engineering excellence, we pride ourselves in delivering effective and efficient bespoke solutions from concept to installation. Due to continued exponential growth we have a requirement for an additional Control System Engineer to join the team.About The Control System EngineerRoleYou will be responsible for the development and implementation of our electrical control systems in automation systems and machinery.The Control System Engineer Will Be Responsible For
  • Design and plan solutions and architectures for automation projects.
  • Adaptation of existing projects for both PLC, HMI and Drives.
  • Developing new control systems utilising PLCs and HMIs.
  • Collaborate with electrical design on control panel designs and schematics.
  • Experience with industrial Bus networks. (Profinet, Profibus, Asi, Industrial Ethernet)
  • Experience with other Automation platforms AB, Mitsubishi, Omron and Schneider and Servo based control.
  • Fault finding on new and existing installations.
A Successful Control System Engineer Will Need
  • Prior PLC programming experience in Siemens or similar systems
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electrical CAD
  • Understanding of automation machinery and systems
