Contracts / Operations Manager Industry: Maintenance Services Location: Isle of Wight Hours: 7.30am - 5pm (later start time may be possible once procedures implemented effectively) Days: Monday - Friday Duration: Permanent Duties: Management of commercial and domestic projects across multiple sites to include: Programming works and allocating trades staff. Managing staff performance and development. Reading and understanding drawings and specifications and programmes. Ensuring adherence to RAMS, health & safety and industry regulations. Undertaking surveys, quotations, site audits, progress and snagging reports (to include boiler swaps, bathroom and full heating installations). Procuring materials and services, managing costs and minimising waste. Communication with clients, contractors and suppliers to maintain good working relationships. Experience: Must have a good level of previous managerial experience within construction or property maintenance sector including gas and relevant technical, industry qualifications. SMSTS certification an advantage. Must have excellent communication and organisational skills and work well in a pressurised environment, to deadlines. Must have a thorough understanding of health and safety, CDM and building regulations. Must have a full drivers licence and a strong level of computer literacy.
