Contracts Manager, Landscaping & Gardens £36,000 to £40,000 Plus Company Vehicle Tonbridge & West Kent Permanent You will be a senior part of a successful team in this industry leading Landscaper creating some of the finest, award winning Gardens. You will be responsible for the creation of Gardens that massively exceed the client’s expectations and throughout the build you will maintain a clear understanding of the Contract, Drawings and Specification. You will be one of the client’s principle points of contact for issues and concerns. The Company: Our client is a leading, full-service Garden Design and Installation Contractor. They have built a reputation for their efficient project management and quality of work, delivered on time and on budget. They offer a Garden Transformation service that includes the initial detailed Design through Hard and Soft Landscaping and all aspects of Installation to ongoing Maintenance. Job Role: Reporting to the Operations Director you will use your proactive approach to maintain an in-depth knowledge of all the pending and active projects. You will ensure that these are managed efficiently through effective communication with the Team Leaders. You will have ownership of your projects and responsibility for day-to-day duties.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered On Time, On Budget and to the Contract Specification.
  • Ensuring that the companies quality standards are maintained.
  • Communicating with the Client to ensure that they are happy with all aspects of the project.
  • Responsibility for the financial performance including resource scheduling and procurement.
  • Supporting the Director and Estimating team in the preparation of tender documentation, pricing future projects and tender submissions.
  • Ensuring that sites are managed in a clean, safe and tidy manner, compliant with H&S Regulations.
  • Checking timesheets, attendance and reporting of any absences to HR, as well as illnesses, health issues and safety issues which may affect the smooth running of the projects or the safety of our staff.
  • Managing the quality of the delivery of the projects to ensure that the good name of and the reputation of the Company is maintained and enhanced. The Person: You will currently be working as a Landscaping Contracts Manager and have several years’ experience.

  • Understand Health and Safety compliance / ISOH Regulations??
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Experience managing a team
