Our North Scotland construction business has a strong commitment to the North East area with a high volume of current and upcoming construction projects the business is a main player in the Aberdeenshire region. An excellent opportunity exists for a Contracts Manager to join us in a key role overseeing multiple concurrent projects across the region.

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland - need for flexibility to travel across the wider North East Scotland region

Contract: Full Time,Permanent

What will you be responsible for?

As Contracts Manager you’ll be key in the ongoing profitable delivery of projects across the region. The Contracts Manager will take an imporatnt role in setting and achieving regional business plan through effectove management of people, resources, sub contractors, clients and budgets.

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Managing project teams, ensuring performance against programme and budgets
  • Managing client relationships both in relation to ongoing tender opportunities and delivery of live projects
  • Set and managing business budgets, oversee staffing requirements and manage recruitment of staff into the business.
What are we looking for?

This role of Contracts Manager requires

  • Experience of operating within the Tier 1 Main Contracting environment
  • Demonstrable experience of managing business units or regions encompassing multiple live projects
  • Strong financial management skills ability to project and manage budgets
  • Strong network in the local market, able to add value to business development and tenders through operational input.
