Contracts Manager / Contracts Supervisor - Insurance Repairs Hertfordshire £35K - £40K + Benefits We are looking for a Contracts Manager/Surveyor to join an expanding and successful building contractor in Hertfordshire. The successful Contracts Manager / Contracts Supervisor will manage the high-value projects (Project value will be from GBP 1200-GBP150,000), dealing with multiple insurance repair projects on residential properties; overseeing direct labour & sub-contractors, dealing with the operational side of each job, keeping track of the progress. This role will suit an experienced Contracts Manager who has worked within the insurance claims repairs industry. Reporting to the Commercial Manager the successful candidate will have full operational responsibility for the day-to-day planning, scheduling, and management of high-value projects with some key insurance industry clients. Contracts Manager / Contracts Supervisor - Insurance Repairs Duties: Scheduling and programming a number of residential refurbishments following insurance claims (subsidence, fire, flood etc.) Managing spend & profit budgets on each project Monitoring all KPIs and SLAs and reporting on these Allocating and scheduling resource (PAYE direct trades and sub-contractors) Manage and monitor variations to the contract, ensuring delays are minimised and profitability is achieved Dealing with any issues arising throughout the works and managing complaints Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are met Holding regular meetings with the client to review the contract and specific jobs, KPI performance Liaising with internal departments, third parties, and homeowners, building strong working relationships, and ensuring records are kept up to date throughout the life-cycle of each project Identify possible areas of growth for the business and develop a strong team of sub-contractors and trade operativesWhat skills/experience will you need? For this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in managing high-value insurance claim repair projects from inception to completion. You will need a strong background in residential property building/refurbishments and have had experience in managing direct trades / sub-contractors. This role will require someone who has held responsibility for KPIs and SLAs and who has managed relationships with clients (i.e. insurance companies/loss adjusters) or attended review meetings. Experience in dealing with high-value claims is preferred. Contracts Manager / Contracts Supervisor Salary & Benefits: This is a permanent, full-time role for which you will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £40K + Benefits.
