Contracts Engineer

Are you an experienced Contract Officer looking for a new challenge?

WysePower are the leading providers of temporary site services to the construction industry, and we are looking to recruit a Contracts Engineer to join our construction services team in Wolverhampton in the delivery of our bespoke WyseBase system.

WyseBase is an innovative solution for temporary accommodation and site welfare with our heavy duty, sustainable modular foundation system. We also construct temporary stairs, ramps and walkways to meet all of our client needs on construction projects.

Working across many sectors including Construction, Infrastructure, Commercial, Utilities and Housing.

Due to rapid growth, we are looking to recruit a Contracts Engineer, qualified to SSSTS/SMSTS level, with experience in civil, first fix joinery or general building contracting.

We would also consider candidates that have contractor expereience who can demonstrate the ability to programme works, manage teams and have a sound understand of temporary works.

The sucessful candidate will be required to :

• Manage operatives and installation teams
• Programme works on site
• Manage Health & Safety at site level
• Be able to complete risk assessments and method statements based on site specific tasks
• Liaise with our clients on a day-to-day basis
• Complete toolbox talks
• Ability to set operatives and sub-contractors to task
• Monitor operatives and ensure plant and materials are called off and requisitioned in a timely fashion
• Compete quality assurance paperwork on site and accurately maintain records of costs and resource at site level
• Ability to lead and motivate, inspring a culture of safety and quality
