Contract Desk Only - Recruitment Consultant - Guildford / Surrey / Hybrid

Must have experience in delivering contract workers into Innovative technologies businesses!

As a Contract Recruitment Consultant, you will be an integral part of the Austin Werner team and will be delivered to existing and new business clients. You will be working alongside Senior Permanent Consultants to execute work within the UK market. On joining the company, you will be aligned with a Senior Consultant and have a rigorous period of 1 to 1 training to get you up and running.

The Recruitment Consultant will be expected :

We’re looking for individuals with:

  • An understanding of commercial recruitment – experience in business development with a mixture of developing new client relationships and key account management.
  • Growth Mindset- we are a growing business and what to hire future leaders.
  • Solid understanding of LinkedIn, Job boards, and other means to source candidates and set up calls.
  • Experience with source candidates within Finance, Fintech, Trading or Crypto houses
  • Identifying, approaching, and qualifying appropriate candidates for client mandates
  • Constantly maintain the company’s database to ensure it is up to date.
  • Passion for winning new contract business.
  • People who like fast-paced environments - Contract recruitment requires us to find quick solutions.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of supplying contract placements into interim roles in varied industries.
  • Built a contract desk from scratch previously
  • Ideally have a BA or BSc degree in Economics or Business Management
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Have a strong work ethic
  • Be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Be a strong team player
  • Possess very strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a high level of initiative and an ability to work without close supervision
  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Display problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Have the desire to learn quickly about business news, industry developments and detailed information about specific companies and industry sectors
