Copello have partnered with an established defence manufacturer based in Poole, in the recruitment of a contract Bid Manager, OUTSIDE of IR35, with a focus on delivering annual orders by successful management of Bids and processing Purchase Orders.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • Planning and controlling customer RFQ’s to define all costs and risks involved
  • Compiling tender and bid documents
  • Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers for the success of the tender or bid, alongside the Head of Bids, MD and Business Development Managers
  • Reading and interpreting Statement of Works, Procurement Specifications, engineering drawings and bill of materials
  • Preparing estimates using business system databases, liaising directly with supply chain obtaining compliant supplier quotations.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
  • A background in Defence and/or Engineering project-led businesses
  • A proven track record of delivering complex bids & tenders
  • Good analytical skills, ability to plan, scope and generate complex proposals and bid packages
  • The ability to understand and articulate key market issues, complex product functionality and customer requirements
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal communication skills
The company is offering this contract OUTSIDE of IR35, for a period of 3-6 months, c£450-£500 per day. The role is based out of Poole and is commutable from Bournemouth, Weymouth, Salisbury, Southampton.
