Introduction

I am currently recruiting for a CI Lead to work for an aerospace company based in Wolverhampton. The role will be leading CI activities across a 400 person manufacturing facility.

The Job



The CI lead is responsible for the development, co-ordination, execution and delivery of improvement initiatives across all functions of the business and the deployment of the CORE Operating System.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating CI activities including lean events, kaizens, and projects in all functions as necessary.
  • Delivering training and coaching in lean principles to team members to enable business improvements.
  • Delivery and tracking of bottom-line benefits to the business of improvement activities.
  • Providing a focal point for lean activities such as 5S, TPM, Standard Work, Visual Management and all waste elimination.
  • Supporting functional leaders in process improvements in support of overall business targets.
  • Developing and delivering a macro-plan of improvement activities to meet business objectives.
  • Creation and communication of the improvement vision for the business
