We are looking for an experienced and creative Content Lead to join our growing team as we expand our well-established events portfolio to include a focus on learning and development. We are a collaborative and hardworking group of in-house experts in the legal information events space, and we deliver a packed annual calendar of high-quality content-led in-person, virtual, hybrid events and award ceremonies, along with branded webinars.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to work closely with the Head of Events to design, project-manage, and roll out our new Training Academy product. You will be responsible for producing research-driven and commercially viable B2B training courses, working with our faculty to compile a series of learning videos and bespoke workshops for course participants. As we expand and embed this product, this role has the potential to grow into a team management responsibility.


What you would be doing:


Market research

  • Use market and desk research to identify further potential courses across a range of legal sectors.
  • Conduct regular calls with key players in the industry via telephone, email, and face-to-face communication to identify and understand market trends and developments.
  • Work closely and collaborate with in-house editorial teams to keep abreast of the latest news in the relevant sectors.

Content

  • Work with key players in the industry to define the modules and course content.
  • Produce course materials, both written and video, and see them through to delivery on the LMS.
  • Work closely with the in-house Editorial teams, Sales Lead and Head of Events, devise and execute a commercially viable product with a repeatable structure.
  • Co-ordinate workshops for course participants and acquire relevant trainers for each.
  • Supervise workshops and encourage discussion.

Training portal

  • Review LMS data and identify any changes required to the course content to ensure course participants are actively engaged with the product throughout their journey.
  • Communicate with course participants to ensure they are correctly using the product and optimising their journey.
  • Manage and maintain our online training portal.
  • Design the method of evaluation for the training academy through the LMS.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 4 years’ experience producing content in a B2B environment, legal sector-related and/or training course background would be desirable
  • Experience using an LMS system desirable
  • Degree educated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative team player
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
