Content & Data Specialist, Marketing Services (UK, Remote)

Location: UK – remote, open for candidates from whole of UK/EU (excellent English required)

Purpose

The Hand Tools, Accessories & Storage (HTAS) Division of Stanley Black & Decker develops, commercialises hand tools, accessories and storage for the construction, consumer, industrial maintenance and automotive repair markets.

The Strategic Business Unit (SBU) HTAS EANZ ensures the commercialisation of the products developed by the Global SBU in accordance with the regional needs of the Europe, Australia and New Zealand markets for the Stanley, Facom, DeWalt, Irwin, Lenox, Black & Decker brands.

Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with the Marketing Services Manager of the SBU HTS EANZ to ensure the availability and accuracy of all product data, so that it is presented to internal and external customers at best quality.
  • You will closely collaborate with internal partners, to ensure the successful transfer of product data from multiple Product Information Management (PIM) systems into the new Riversand system.
  • You will be required to accurately and methodically transfer over products’ technical attributes, features and benefits as well as harmonise all product descriptions.
  • Map out the Riversand classifications to align with international taxonomies and ensure they are updated in coordination with the Product management team.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and cleansing the product data for all new products and promotions at least 6 weeks before product launch.
  • You will need to have a great level of product knowledge and a good understanding of the technical product and its specifications.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, Product Marketing experience is an advantage
  • Excellent data management
  • Excellent editorial skills
  • Fluent English – written & spoken, strong communication including, good listening skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, experience with Excel databases
  • Technical product knowledge would be an advantage (not mandatory)
  • RIVERSAND - SAP Knowledge would be an advantage (not mandatory)
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
