Main duties of the job

To be responsible for running the day-to-day activity of the Department and providing advice and consultation on referral from other departments as required.

To participate in a 1:6 on-call rota initially (with middle grade Urology cover) at Ysbyty Gwynedd. There are discussion about Urology Services reconfiguration and the frequency of on call may become less onerous, subject to review

To participate as required in the clinical audit process operated within the specialty group, improving clinical practice by peer review and changing working practices to maintain a high standard of medical treatment and care.
