Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join a closely-knit team of consultants in the department of General Surgery, three of whom are established specialists in colorectal surgery. There is excellent support from colleagues in gastroenterology, anaesthetics & critical care, radiology and other specialties, as well as from clinical nurse specialists, the nutrition team, and surgical trainees. The North Wales Oncology Centre is on site, allowing close collaboration with oncologists for MDT working and clinical trials.
