We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic consultant clinical neurophysiologist to join the team and contribute to the increasing need in Dorset. The department is forward thinking and dynamic. The local GPs and staff value the work of the department and it has a reputation for good quality as well as responsiveness. We currently have 6 CPs working at band 7 and 1 CP working at band 5. We are active in training clinical physiologists within the department, in collaboration with Aston University, Birmingham. We have recently received approval to recruit to the STP pathway and look forward to contributing to the training of future CPs. There are 2 assistant CPs who support the consultant EMG clinics.

Upon relocation of the role/service, excess mileage allowance / reimbursement will not apply, and any travel between the postholder’s home and work base will be classified as a commute. Any other changes unrelated to this, will be handled in line with Trust/National terms and conditions.
