Do you have an extensive technical and quality assurance background in construction and managing complex defect resolutions. Are you professionally qualified, solutions focused and have a passion for increasing construction quality within new builds?

If the answer is yes, then this is an exciting opportunity to work in a team with traditional and modular projects and to drive excellent quality standards with a multi-disciplinary team.

Swan is a developer in East London and Essex building new homes traditionally, plus we deliver modular homes in our very own factory. This means you’ll be working closely across our multi-disciplinary teams inclusive of development, construction, commercial, technical, and manufacturing to drive up performance and deliver an excellent service.

Ideally you will be an M&E expert with solid working experience of managing structural and finishing build milestones. This is an exciting opportunity to recruit and develop your professionally qualified team to deliver an excellent construction quality assurance service, enabling Swan to deliver high quality homes that are defect free. You will support and mentor your team to professionally progress in the applicable Chartered Institutes. You will also lead the end to end process for quality management within the Regeneration and Development Directorate, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, making sure that new and existing homes and neighbourhoods are of a high quality whilst ensuring continuous improvement through robust processes.

The New Homes Quality Team spans a range of activities, including our onsite quality assurance inspector visits during new build construction phase, plus diagnosis and management of complex or latent defects for new homes built by external contractors and in house under the NU living brand. We will rely on you to work collaboratively with key external stakeholders and partners, including contractors, consultants and insurers, as well as our internal commercial, technical and project management teams, to deliver effective customer focused solutions, driven by our customer satisfaction star rating.

Applicants must be available for interview week commencing 20th September.

We offer fantastic benefits including Pension, Life Assurance, BUPA Private Healthcare and much more. Further to this you can expect 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays, PLUS 3 days at Christmas), a comprehensive induction programme and excellent ongoing training.
