Must be experienced in all aspects of construction / building estimating ranging from new build, renovation, alterations, maintenance works and general building. Price ranges generally from £1K to £5M. Good knowledge of government oriented works, ie. NHS, education & local authority. The company prides itself on being able to maintain a good customer base which in turn is the mainstay of repeat business. We are on several tender platforms and preferred contractor with private organizations, ie. energy sector, private hospitals and retail. There are also in-house development projects. The company has a directly employed core workforce offering all trades. It also has an approved library of regularly engaged Sub-Contractors. The position requires the applicant to have a good knowledge of construction & maintenance IT programs. While primarily office based, you will be required to visit various sites in order to ascertain the extent of works to be costed. Also to collate interim payments etc.. As work progresses, you will be required to cost / log any additional items that are applicable to the project either via architect’s instruction or dayworks. Generally the pricing levels are tendered or estimated.

Position permanent.

Salary dependent on experience, ranging from £46K to £53K per annum, paid monthly.
