Salary: £50k + depending on experience

Life Property Construction specialize in the procurement, design, construction and operation of Elderly Care Homes and Specialist Services for the Glenholme Healthcare Group.
Due to growth and an expanding number of projects we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a record in overseeing new build and refurbishment projects in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the site teams and reporting into the Construction Director you will be responsible for the following

A competent understanding of healthcare design and construction is essential.

Managing simultaneous projects from design to completion Working alongside the buying and surveying department to ensure profit targets are met and valuing LPC and subcontractor performance Effectively planning and resourcing subcontract labour, alongside the Site Management team Report and overseeing H&S on site Managing subcontractors and suppliers Ensuring effective communication between site and the surveying department Progressing the design throughout the JCT D&B Contract
The role will be predominantly remote, supporting the site team in delivering quality build within the contract program.
Our portfolio of sites are around the Lincolnshire and Midlands, however, you will be asked at times to assist in projects for the Glenholme Groups other facilities from Brighton to Blackpool.
You will be a driven and ambitious manager who strives for quality, present professionally and able to chair design and progress meetings.

Requirements

Knowledge of the healthcare and care home sector (although other related experience may be considered) Professional qualification at HND level or higher SMSTS Strong I.T. skills, including Microsoft office suite Full UK Driving Licence
