About the role

With our continued growth, we are now looking for a Construction Buyer to join our busy team.

Key duties to include:

  • Procurement for large and small works
  • Responsible for securing best rates for all purchases
  • Organisation of handover meetings and responsible for managing key actions
  • Ordering of job materials
  • Management of project schedules
  • Management of internal operational administration and systems
  • Building excellent relationships with suppliers
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure successful project fulfilment

Who are we looking for?

We need someone who is personable, presentable and keen to get stuck into a busy team. A few key characteristics that we feel would suit this role:

  • Construction experience essential;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Good mental arithmetic;
  • Experience of take offs desirable
  • Good administration skills;
  • Experience of using online systems;
