A immediate role has come to fruition for an experienced Concrete Supervisor to join a well established Hampshire based contractor whom specialises in concrete works across the UK working on varied projects ranging within concrete and decking between 100m2 to over 100,000m2, typical projects from warehouses to logistic centres, care homes to commercial offices.Role:To work with the contract teams to successfully deliver the concrete works on all concrete contracts. Planning and booking all plant and labour and material requirements with the contract team to enable successful delivery of the concrete element of the contract.Prioritise your workload to hit deadlines whilst keeping a high level of attention to detail.Challenge and develop all processes and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement is at the heart of what we do.Be proactive and always lead by example.Ensure that all quality issues under your control are managed and resolved in a timely and cost effective manner.Communicate effectively with your team, the business and external stakeholders to develop a strong and professional relationship.Be aware of your team financial budgets and support your line manager in achieving them.Contribute to the successful delivery of your team’s KPI’s.Job Responsibilities:Daily communication with the contract teams regarding progressMaintaining high levels of H&S and quality on siteMaintain high levels of client satisfaction for all on site activitiesEnsure all deliveries are suitably booked into site with the correct noticeSubmit weekly labour allocations to sub-contractors ensuring that start dates and programmes are issuedIssue pre-start notification on every contract once labour is confirmedEnsure that all delivery tickets are checked and signedManage communications between site and our client ensuring relationships are maintained and that a professional working environment is always upheldUndertake slab regularity survey on all contracts within 48 hours of the concrete pourCommunicate all variations and additional works to the relevant members of the contract teamAssist in all problem solving on site, always ensuring that this is clearly communicated with all relevant partiesAttend site progress meeting when requiredUndertake SHEQ audits when on siteAssist commercial Co Ordinator with setting up and reviewing final accountsMaking sure site diaries are maintainedEnsuring all non-productive events are recorded and communicated to the relevant partiesAssist In checking all invoices relevant to concrete including subcontractsFollowing all accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences assist the Concrete operations manager in the completion of an accident investigationSkills or Qualifications:Competent with Microsoft Office 365 suite (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to use the company Office Management Software system/s (Connect)Full UK driving licenceCSCS CardSMSTSWorking at heightManual HandlingSlinger BanksmenAbrasive wheels
