Textiles Designer – CAD – Lancaster

We are looking for a Designer to work for a well-known luxury interior furnishings company who cover the full end-to-end process of design, manufacturing and marketing of wallpapers and fabrics as well as other soft furnishings and products. The company has 6 internal brands each with their own identity but also work on 3rd party designs for various luxury companies,

Your role would focus on designing these products, from concept to sign off, within a large team of designers. The role would include CAD Design and drawing so you must have experience with this software and be comfortable using it daily. An interest or experience in designing textiles is necessary, with experience of printing techniques and repeating patterns being desirable.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years experience
  • CAD (Computer Aided Design) Experience
  • Experience with designing soft furnishings / textiles / wallpaper
  • Experience with repeating patterns
  • Art / drawing
  • Creativity
  • Mathematic ability / understanding
  • Degree in art / textiles / fashion or other related subject would be desirable
