WE ARE HIRING!
We’re looking for a dynamic Customs Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in our exciting, rapidly expanding young business. As part of the management team, you will help to shape the future direction of Fresh Clear as we continue to grow and diversify. Alongside this, you will be responsible for our customs processes, compliance procedures & audits and for managing our customs authorizations.

A natural and articulate coach, you will use your technical knowhow to assist and up-skill your colleagues. Often working closely with the Commercial team and our Customs Supervisors to support positive outcomes in new business realizations and the delivery of exemplary customer service.

Fresh Clear is part of the Fresca Group, one of the largest privately owned fresh produce businesses in the UK. We provide customs services to our group companies and to an ever-increasing portfolio of external clients from a broad range of sectors. We deliver a comprehensive import and export service, including transit, PEACH, IPAFFS and CFSP. We also provide customers with logistics solutions and access to warehousing & distribution.

You will be an energetic, highly motivated individual with an enquiring mind and a passion for excellence. With great organizational skills and a keen eye for detail you
will have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Our perfect Compliance Manager will have:
  • Experience using Customs systems (e.g., CHIEF, CNS, Destin 8, Sequoia) essential
  • Extensive knowledge of HMRC regulations pertinent to customs processes.
  • Practical experience using and managing proprietary customs software; previous experience with ASM sequoia would be advantageous.
  • Practical experience using CHIEF, CSP software, PEACH, IPAFFS, NCTS. Operational experience of CDS advantageous.
  • Ability to secure and maintain customs authorizations e.g., customs warehouse, CSFP, AEO.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Confident working with numbers and using Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive, a self-starter who gets things done with minimum supervision and can operate in a fast-paced environment.

The Hours You Will Work:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8am - 5pm (40hrs per week)
