This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Lincolnshire’s leading Cyber Security companies, based in the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park. We are looking for an experienced and motivated full-time Compliance Manager to be part of our small, friendly, and expanding team.
Role overview
As a Compliance Manager you will assume a Senior position responsible for ensuring the company’s policies meet with current regulatory legislation and ethical standards, and consulting with clients on compliance matters.
Reporting to the Cyber Business Director, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Act as the company focal point for all ensuring the adherence to all requisite compliance standards
· Conducting periodic audits, reviews of policies, practices, processes and procedures, and employee training to ensure execution of compliance standards
· Implementing new compliance standards to meet current legislation
· Where necessary conducting investigations into non-compliance issues to determine the source and provide appropriate solutions and actions
· Producing, maintaining and distributing compliance documentation to all employees
· Consulting with relevant professionals on compliance matters
· Act as the company’s expert for ISO/IEC 27001:2022
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the evolving nature of the role and the company’s business objectives.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Proven experience as a Compliance Manager, preferably within a Managed Security Service Provider or similar IT environment
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor
- ISO/IEC 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (Desirable)
- Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of IT, ethical employment and environmental compliance standards as set by the law and corporate regulatory authorities
- Awareness of other Infosec frameworks
- Excellent communication & IT skills
- Demonstrating an approachable, professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently
- Must be confident, thorough and well spoken
- Must be able to take the lead on priority tasks and provide support to Senior Leadership Team
- Must display passion, integrity and teamwork in a technical, confidential and forward thinking environment
