Are you a specialist in compliance and engineering?

We are looking for Compliance Manager who is capable to assess our clients’ products and mark them as compliant in line with directives. This role will be challenging due to the work involved but will also be rewarding as you will be ensuring all their products meet safe standards.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Compliance Manager will manage the technical documentation ensuring products are compliant to CE, UKCA and overseas countries.

Located in Chandlers Ford offering £35,000 - £45,000 plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the business’s policies in ensuring compliance of manufactured products.
  • Developing and implement new processes & policies as part of a Quality Management System.
  • Design and monitor control system to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure all technical documentation are compliant.
  • Identify regulatory requirements for targeted overseas countries and ensure formal documented assessments are in place to confirm Selwood product’s compliance.
  • Perform periodic audits on company procedures & policies.
  • Lead employee training sessions on compliance issues.
  • Ensure all technical manuals are translated to relevant languages.

Person Specification

  • Minimum - Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, business administration, law or relevant field)
  • Have recorded experience of previous CE & UKCA Marking assessments.
  • Experience on complex engineering systems, including electrical installation.
  • Able to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of all UK & EU Safety standards and directives related to heavy machineries.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills with directors.
