Compliance Engineer

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + Benefits

Location: Leamington Spa

Our client, are a large, well-established manufacturing company that specialises in the production and delivery of cooking appliances, interior furnishings, and accessories. They are now looking to expand their team with an experienced Compliance Engineer.

Reporting into the Lab Manager, you will oversee the product portfolio, ensuring that service delivery and operation excellence is achieved in an effective and efficient manner, to the highest customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the Compliance Engineer:

  • Running quality assurance tests to deliver on project deadlines,
  • Develop new products in line with best practice and National / International Standards,
  • Support & manage the testing process,
  • Writing and publishing detailed and comprehensive test reports internally and management of risk for the team,
  • Supporting Sales and Marketing with NPI customer demonstrations and relevant information,
  • Ensuring standards are up to date and test procedures are followed accordingly,
  • Actively support test time reduction through Continuous Improvement principles,
  • Following CE marking approval process by in house test procedures or liaising with external bodies,
  • Creation of technical files including risk assessments,
  • Working with international legislation and standards.

The ideal Compliance Engineer:

  • Experience working as a Certification Engineer or similar.
  • Qualified to HND/HNC as a minimum in a suitable engineering discipline,
  • Proven working knowledge of CE Marking approval process for LVD / EMC and GAR,
  • Experience with the creation of technical files including risk assessments,
  • You must have understanding of safety standards and test procedures in line with the standards (EN60335 and EN30),
  • Can analyse and compile testing data from the tests performed.
