ROLE OVERVIEW

This is an entry-leave/graduate, up to early career experience role (2-3 years relevant experience).

We are looking for someone who has experience in sales, customer relationship management, or compliance experience to join our license compliance department within CJCH solicitors. No legal experience is required, but experience in negotiation and deal closure is a benefit.

As a License Compliance Analyst, you will be analysing data on software infringements to investigate, identify and engage with non-compliant software users to assist them in obtaining a commercial agreement to become compliant. You will be working with an international team of dynamic and motivated individuals who collaborate and share their experiences to help develop the team as a whole. Sales experience is a strong benefit for this role as you will be required to engage with companies to negotiate the closure/settlement of deals.

The opportunity includes extensive technical and on-the-job training for the research methodology and the tools/systems used.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Fluent speaker of English (be able to speak, read, write, and translate at a fluent professional level)
  • Analytical thinking and ability to make decisions
  • Attention to detail (able to work with, and report on, data)
  • Negotiations and sales abilities
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong research and investigation skills
  • Highly computer literate with strong competency in MS Office programs like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

The successful candidate will need to be able to:

  • Be self-motivating and manage your own time and deliverables to meet the target;
  • Work within a team and set processes to ensure efficiency;
  • Identify, collate, evaluate, and analyse information from client databases and open-source information, and various other sources to produce high-quality and compelling evidence packages of non-compliant use of client licensed products (with training from our team);
  • Work in a collaborative way with the other investigation and compliance team members, the clients, and legal representatives.

Additional Preferences (Beneficial but not required):

  • Additional languages such as Spanish/Portuguese would be preferred
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field of study, although alternative experience will also be taken into consideration.
  • Experience in a sales, compliance, or customer service role (1-2 years)
  • Familiarity with 3D engineering software would be a benefit but is not required.

The advertised salary range is based on relevant experience, with entry-level up to 2-3 years of relevant experience as a minimum.

All candidates will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be contacted to be invited to an interview. CVs must include a direct email address.

Some of the benefits of joining our team:

  • Work in a very niche and growing industry in a job that you can be proud of
  • A flexible way of working that suits your needs (remote working possible, so no need for commuting unless in-office training/meetings are required) including flexible start and finish times within the working day, and the possibility to work from abroad for a period of time each year.
  • Casual dress code/no-tie policy (be as comfortable at work as you are in your own living room - smart-casual when in the office)
  • A diverse, international, and friendly work environment where you can practice your language skills.
  • A knowledgeable, high-achieving, and fun team
  • Opportunities for advancement and professional development
  • Starting at 28 days of annual leave per year (including bank holidays), with the potential to increase over time.
  • Open plan office located in Cardiff city centre
  • Secure bike rack in support of cycle-to-work
