Duties Will Include

The Company Bourne based, fast-paced, growing company with a friendly and welcome team The Job This is a 6-month fixed-term contract working for one of our Bourne-based clients. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for delivering accounts in line with Group timeframes and policies. You will need to provide clear analysis of monthly accounts with proposals for improving future results and quantify the financial impact of planned commercial changes.

Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and regulations Monthly, Quarterly and Annual accounts preparation Cash flow statement for submission to Head Office Monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations Monthly stock taking procedure and auditing of the validity of the stock counts Yearly statutory accounts and audit file preparation Fixed asset register maintenance Banking of receipts, payment runs, and bank reconciliations Accounting for foreign exchange differences Monthly VAT and Intrastat returns Prepare payroll file for accountants Posting and coding supplier invoices Raising customer invoices, up-dating product data on accounts package and EDI Credit control and dealing with customer claims Maintaining the nominal ledger in the accounts system Yearly budget and forecast preparations and submission to Head Office Cost and margin calculations Maintain staff holiday records Oversee the order processing system Provide office and sales support
Who we are looking for
Available immediately Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience in a similar role Technically strong High level of Microsoft Excel experience to manipulate data
