Contracts

Block paid hours - What does this mean?

Paid from start to finish, not only being paid for the time spent in your care calls and guarantees you will be paid for any travel time - This means should you work 7:00am-3:00pm or 3:00pm-10:00pm with care calls between these times you will be paid for the full period.

  • Mileage paid for drivers and cyclists with competitive rates paid - 40p per mile (drivers) & 15p per mile (cyclists)

Working Hours and Shift Patterns
  • Early shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Late shifts: 3:00pm - 10:30pm
  • Alternate weekend working
The Role

You Will

You do not need care experience. If you have the right values, we will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Community Home Care Assistant. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide care and support to meet individual personal care needs.
  • Provide personal care that protects people’s dignity.
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches.
  • Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
  • Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services.
  • Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.
  • Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting and sharing information with the right people at the right time.
Induction Training

As a Community Care Worker, You Will Be Provided With a Comprehensive Induction Training On

All training is fully funded, and you will be paid for your time to complete the training.
  • Community wellbeing, individual wellbeing and personal outcomes;
  • Fluids and nutrition;
  • Medication, moving and handling, basic life support and first aid;
  • Infection prevention and control, health and safety;
  • Professional boundaries, confidentiality, equality, and diversity;
  • Safeguarding, mental health and capacity

As A  Community Care Worker, You Will Be Provided With
