Purpose of the job


The role of Communications Manager is to raise the profile of Nuvia UK through quality and consistent messaging, developing, and managing our external marketing (i.e., exhibitions & conferences), online platforms and driving digital strategy. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, creative, possess excellent communications skills, and a great team player who will help uphold the values of Nuvia.

Head of Talent Development and Employee Communication

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing strategies to drive traffic to the company website and social media channels to generate interest in services.
  • Create exciting and engaging written, graphic, and video content based on analytics, trends, and customer activities
  • Event planning and attendance at events to capture content and support business objectives
  • Monitor and optimise the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and generate high level reports with key learnings, trends, ROI and metric based activity
  • Apply creativity and flair to content creation and communication to customers and clients
  • Develop external media relations to deliver positive press coverage within relevant trade press and regional consumer press.
  • Support the relevant social media channels Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc
  • Creation and distribution of corporate press releases to special interest magazines
  • Facilitate UK interview opportunities to promote personnel, products, projects and opportunities
- Partner with the broader Marketing, Commercial and Product teams to ensure - - PR driven campaigns are fully leveraged across all channels and consumer touchpoints
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities to promote our work by monitoring our projects and looking for relevant PR opportunities, capitalising on work/stories that will gain traction in the industry, get us noticed by clients, collaborators and potential employees, and regular publishing in industry and national press
  • Managing the creation of marketing collateral and visual material
  • Design of corporate and internal collateral to brand standards using internal and external platforms and managing third party vendors to deadline and budget.
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and other contributors for content creation.
  • Play a lead role in our Social Corporate Responsibility activities


Occupational Skills and Knowledge

A degree in marketing or a related field or relevant experience
Duties and Requirements


Essential:

  • The ability to meet and exceed the expectation of, internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers through a sound understanding of their requirements, being responsive to their needs and anticipating their requirements.
  • Experience working with agencies to deliver high impact PR programmes & Brand Communications campaigns that drive brand awareness, demand, and great commercial results.
  • A communications expert: you love building brand equity and landing the message and have a strong background in PR and brand activation campaigns.
- Exceptional communication skills - excellent writing skills and strong presentation skills, with the ability to pitch an idea and build consensus around campaigns
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Excellent communications skills, including writing, editing, and speaking; ability to communicate effectively.
  • Able to work as part of team and on your own
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement experience
  • Attention to detail
