Are you an excellent communicator? With the ability to interface at all levels, building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally?

We are currently looking for a Communications Manager to join our Sodexo team on a 6 month fixed-term-contract, to assist in the mobilisation of our new site in Portsmouth. You will be required to act as a subject matter expert, supporting communications across the client, customer, incumbent employers, and transferring employees through the contract mobilisation phase.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate looking to gain experience and knowledge.

Role Responsibility

  • Own and deliver the transition communications plan
  • Liaise with the client/key customer communications team/s
  • Prepare, edit and publish communications including newsletters, website updates, and manage social media platforms as appropriate
  • Design innovative solutions to suite numerous communications channels
  • Work with internal Sodexo communications, graphics and Hestia communications as required
  • Maintain excellent client/customer relationships, attending team briefs, huddles, meetings and calls as required

The Ideal Candidate

What we are looking for
  • Proven experience working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level
  • Excellent communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective communication and be able to articulate examples
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrate discretion and ability to deal with confidential issues
  • Ablity to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, and adhere to standards, with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and other specific publishing programmes

Where we can be flexible

  • Proven experience of supporting contract mobilisation or significant change process
  • Experience of working in a military environment
