Communications & Engagement Lead

What you’ll be doing…

The Communications & Engagement Lead is a key stakeholder in winning the hearts and minds of Future employees. As the center of gravity for our Company’s communications and engagement efforts, the Communications & Engagement Business Partner is integral to improving the employee experience across our global organisation.

You will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of Future’s employee engagement strategy, as well as internal communications from planning to execution, and ensure successful communication across the organisation.

Developing and managing our external social media strategy and managing our corporate charity approach internally and externally.

You are a key stakeholder in change management workstreams (including acquisitions), specifically around communications and engagement, and partnering with company leadership.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

• You will have demonstrable experience in supporting and driving engagement initiatives and events.
• You will have a deep understanding of communications best practices per social media channel.
• You will be able to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication and engagement.
• You will have a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time.
• You will be super organised with a passion for ensuring planning activities are completed accurately and comprehensively.
• You will be a problem solver and enjoy the challenge of leading groups responsible for developing solutions and resolving blockers and issues.
• You will be a strong and clear communicator with a proven history of managing a diverse range of stakeholders; presenting and influencing credibly and effectively and able to adapt personal style to different people or situations, tailoring information and language to the audience.
• You will be open to trying new things, getting involved in new projects on top of your day-to-day work, and expanding your outlook.
• You will be comfortable with data, and telling a story with data.

Please note:

Today, we’re happy to announce we’re working with the Welsh Government and Cardiff Council on a grant application which sees us opening a new office in Cardiff, this will begin with a three month trial which will involve hiring between twenty to sixty new staff in Cardiff. If the trial goes well, and the grant application is successful, our new Cardiff colleagues will be the first cohort in an office that we plan to grow over the next 5 years. If not, we will still guarantee roles with Future, either working remotely or in our other UK offices.
