Salary £27000 - £33500 depending on experience

The role

This is a key role where you’ll be building great stakeholder relationships with our people, boosting engagement and collaboration across Operations & Healthcare Management (OHCM) to deliver the strategic communications and engagement activity.

You’ll be involved in developing and designing an effective communications plan and delivering and reviewing the success of internal events to maximise engagement and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Maintain close collaboration with the Ops & HCM Leadership team and People Business Partner, developing and implementing a function-specific internal communications support strategy.
• Lead and facilitate events and focus group research to support the Directors, focusing on understanding the barriers to engagement and opportunities for improvement.
• Plan and manage the development and delivery of a programme of events that supports growth in capability and increased engagement.

• Engage key stakeholders to gain support for all events.
• Create targeted briefing packs and support with speaker notes to ensure successful content delivery.
• Attend events and help to manage our attendees at both an operational and senior level.
• Create weekly pack content to send to all OHCM, considering the audience, timings and accessibility.

You

• Energetic, driven and enthusiastic!
• Commercial experience in Internal Communications and Engagement, PR, events, or Marketing is essential.
• Proven experience of successfully leading a team to plan and deliver corporate events.
• Exceptional creative writing skills.
• Excellent project management, planning and organisational abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with a positive persuasive manner, capable of bringing others along with you.
• Creative experience and flair and a strong understanding and empathy with Brand values.
• Experience of managing and developing budgets.
• Credibility to influence decisions with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the drive and commitment to build, lead and inspire a high calibre, motivated team would be great
