Commis Chef The Nags Head Pub, Haughton Moss, Tarporley, CW6 9RN Salary: £10.50-£12 per hour plus service charge. Benefits: guaranteed service charge paid monthly, free meals on shift, staff discounts, paid breaks, employee assistance programme, living accommodation if required Full time 40 45 hours per week The Nags Head, Haughton isnt just any regular pub. Putting into practice everything we have learnt over the past ten years at our sites in Altrincham, Manchester and Macclesfield, we are working alongside some of the best producers and growers in the North West and UK. There is a heavy focus on whole animal butchery, working with two incredible beef farms within three miles of the pub whilst also using the meat from our own reared pastured ewes. The Nags Head has a large garden growing fruits, veggies and herbs which is celebrated and reflected on our ever-changing menus. Our ambition is to create a pub which reflects the abundance of produce which Cheshire has to offer done in a rustic and elegant fashion. This spring, we are opening an outside kitchen with open fire cooking which will serve our events and work alongside the main kitchen. We are looking for a Commis Chef to learn with us and support our growing team as we create more excellent food. If you are genuinely passionate and enthusiastic about food and its provenance, then we would love to hear from you. Some experience is preferable, but more important is a desire for knowledge and we will offer you training and support.
