LOCATION: Coleshill, Warwickshire

SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000

THE COMPANY Terriva Limited is a well-established family-owned company based in Coleshill in Warwickshire. We design, manufacture, and sell high quality specialist equipment to a range of industries, primarily within the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food sectors in the UK and abroad. The company trades under three key brands namely Pharmatech, Connection Systems and Drum Systems.

THE ROLE Due to expansion, Terriva Limited is looking for an experienced, driven professional to join our team in the newly created position of Commercial and Marketing Manager. This principal aim of this exciting role is to identify and develop new opportunities and markets and routes to market and to expand the existing markets and outlets in which the three brands exist. Terriva Limited operates within the UK, however 70% its business is currently overseas. This is key appointment for the future growth of the organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION This integral position is at the heart of the business. The key tasks across the three brands of Pharmatech, Connection Systems and Drum Systems will include: • Business Development. o Developing the existing customer base o Identifying and developing new market opportunities and sectors o Identifying and developing new routes to markets both in the UK and internationally including:

▪ Digital Channels

▪ Agents and Distributors

• Marketing - Create, implement, and manage a cohesive marketing strategy across the three brands to include:

▪ Budgeting and Forecasting

▪ Analysis and Reporting

• Sales Expansion - Build upon, and develop the existing sales strategy with a fresh perspective which may include:

▪ Reviewing the range, reach and positioning of the existing product base

▪ Developing new products based on the existing range

▪ Developing new, non-pharmaceutical markets for the existing range

▪ Using sales and marketing tools to build and maintain good customer and agent relationships using pro-active contact. Keeping them proactively informed with new developments and highlighting any opportunities

▪ Developing sound commercial awareness within the sector

THE INDIVIDUAL

Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Have demonstrable commercial experience within the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related industry.

• Technical mindset

• Consistent in achieving and driving for results having a proven track record of achieving sales growth in a previous role

• Have experience of working through agents of international distributors and/or agents (preferable)

• Sound understanding of marketing and digital marketing techniques

• Drive, enthusiasm, a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to think for yourself and take responsibility for your actions from day one

• Self-motivated, with good time management and excellent organisational skills

• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders and customers

• An ability to apply your intelligence in a practical way, with the ability to develop & implement new ideas

• Capable at organising and structuring work

• Computer literate to a high level in Microsoft Office applications and other digital tools including Vision
