Job Title: Commercial Manager Facades Location: Warrington Salary: £75,000 (inclusive of car allowance) This role could be suitable for a Senior Quantity Surveyor wanting to take the next step in their career The Client Our client is a leading commercial glazing, cladding and façade specialist and they are looking to add a Commercial Manager to their team. The Role We are seeking a Commercial Manager to assist in the financial and legal control of commercial glazing and cladding projects. The Commercial Manager will work within the Commercial Team and be involved in all aspects of cost control, coordination, installation/delivery, safety, and completion of our clients Commercial / Facades projects from the date of appointment to the conclusion of the Defects Liability Period. Candidates must be a qualified Quantity Surveyors and have experience being the commercial lead on projects with the ability to run two to three projects concurrently, with minimal supervision The role will require: Proven track record in a similar role, specific experience in commercial buildings Ability to manage numerous projects or manage a division within the business. Good Client management skills Excellent scope management and change control skills Ability to organise and delegate effectively. Excellent numeracy, grammar & Microsoft Office skills Excellent reporting and negotiation skills Contractual awareness (JCT & NEC experience) Technical understanding of aluminium / curtain walling and different systems of cladding required (preferred but not essential if from a main contractor background) Desired Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 GCSE’s, A C passes desirable or equivalent Minimum HNC Building Studies BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying desirable CSCS Card RICS accredited preferable Clean driving licence Prior use of Construct if possible Engineering background an advantage Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Engineering, Facade, Engineer, Estimator,
