Are you a Commercial Lead or Business Development Manager looking for a new opportunity in the East Sussex area? We are working with an innovative creative technology agency who are looking to add an experienced Commercial lead to their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £55K-60K DOE with flexible working and 1-2 days in the office per week. The role would also suit someone who is a Commercial Manager who has experience working with clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector. The Agency Our client is a creative technology agency, dedicated to creating powerful virtual experiences and content for brands in the healthcare sector including web, apps, videos and animations. From strategy through to tactical delivery, they fuse bold creative ideas by using technology to push the boundaries of what’s possible. This role will be part of the leadership team and will involve taking ownership of the agency’s growth strategy, working closely with the senior management team to unlock opportunities across existing client accounts and generating opportunities to work with new clients. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the sales pipeline and leading on sales opportunities from searching for new clients to collaborate with, through to being involved in all stages of the pitch process
  • You will lead on forecasting for both monthly and quarterly sales targets and update the senior leadership team on progression during regular meetings
  • Arranging new business meetings and presenting the agency’s capabilities to potential clients
  • Lead on client reviews, and contract terms and oversee the procurements process when required, across new and existing clients
  • Establish relationships with new clients through lead generation and calling and emailing clients with the aim to arrange meetings to discuss future collaboration opportunities with the agency
  • Work closely with the creative and account handling team throughout the client briefing process to understand the brief, communicate queries to the client and support throughout the pitching process including, gathering timelines and costings
  • Work alongside the account handling team to spot new opportunities to grow existing client accounts and reach out to new contacts to explore other areas of their business About You You enjoy really getting to know your client’s business objectives. You are confident talking to potential and existing clients in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare world and have extensive knowledge of the sector. Through your past roles, you have successfully generated new business opportunities from keeping up to date with the latest market news and trends to coming up with creative ways to reach out to potential clients. You have led client discussions, confidently talking them through what the agency has to offer and how the agency can support their needs and solve their challenges. Previously, you have created account plans that you have managed and owned, adding knowledge and insight from the agency team. You are used to working closely with both the senior management and account handling teams to deep dive into client accounts and strategies ways to work with the right clients for future growth.
