Our client is seeking a talented Commercial Insurance Consultant, for a large UK Insurance business, to be based at their branch in Harrogate. They are looking for a professional, ambitious, career minded individual to head up a new Commercial department in a well established, national Insurance broker.

As a consultant at this branch, you will be able to deal confidently with clients both face to face and over the phone. You will be able to develop and maintain a client base from scratch by means of networking within the local community and striking relationships with local business owners. You will also be able to use the companies extensive data base in personal lines to further opportunity for growth.

You will possess strong communication skills and an enthusiastic sales ability, whilst being approachable and professional. You will have strong business development skills and ideally will have at least three years of experience in Commercial Insurance already. You will be a successful sales individual who has ideally gained target driven sales experience but not essential. You will have a good standard of general education with strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for customer service and business development. The role will very much be client facing, visiting in person to maintain and develop relationships.

Full training will be given, including the opportunity to study for your CII nationally recognised professional qualifications, fully funded if you haven’t already done so.
