Position: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Covering Sites in the North West (including down to Stoke-on-Trent)
Salary: £30,000-£36,000 (depending on experience) + van, fuel card, on-call, tools, pension, overtime, mobile phone and tablet
Full Time and Permanent - Monday to Friday – 8.00am-4.30pm
On call: 1 week in every 6 - £100 for being on call
THE COMPANY:
My client is a successful SME facilities and related support services business with an expanding client base across the UK.
They provide Hard FM Maintenance to various clients throughout the UK. They do this through their own engineers.
They are now actively looking to recruit a fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to cover the North West region and also down to Stoke-on-Trent.
Our client is flexible on where you are based as long as you live in the Cheshire / Manchester / Merseyside / Lancashire areas.
The working hours are Monday to Friday and 8.00am-4.30pm (half hour lunch). Half hour travel time to be given at both the start and end of the day.
Overtime is paid at the rate of Time and a half Monday to Friday and Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday is double time.
You will be provided with a fully expensed company van.
The role is to look after the planned and reactive Service and Maintenance and breakdown repairs of commercial heating systems to a range of clients, these will be a mixture of Commercial Buildings, Retail Sites, Leisure Complexes and Student Accommodation.
Candidates must have the following qualifications / accreditations:
· Commercial and Domestic Gas Certificates
UP1 & Hot Water unvented qualifications would be advantageous
Some exposure to plumbing and electrical or related trades would be advantageous
Our client are looking for someone who will be able to liaise with staff and engineers.
Our client are looking for someone who can quote works required and obtain material costs.
Our client is ideally looking for someone who has a facilities maintenance background and is used to reactive and PPM commercial gas maintenance.
Candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and be happy to travel on a daily basis.
