Commercial Data Analyst

South Devon

£30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus

We are working with an established Devon company to recruit a Commercial Data Analyst on a permanent basis. You will report directly into the directors to manage & report on sales, assessing new stock and the relevant pricing. The Commercial Data Analyst will also take the lead on maintaining & improving reporting systems and processes.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • Providing insightful management & analysis to maximise sales and company profitability both in the UK and international markets.
  • Managing stock flows.
  • Tracking market performance & revenue across multiple platforms.
  • Assessing & making informed recommendations to senior management on stock acquisitions and in-market pricing.
  • Maintaining efficient reporting to enable accurate sales analysis data.
  • Tracking competitor activity & stock levels.
  • Assisting in maintaining databases.
  • Assisting in developing & optimising internal reporting.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Advanced Excel with minimum 1 year analytical experience.
  • Database & Coding experience (desirable).
  • High attention to detail & able to pick up new information quickly in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent numeracy with a highly commercial mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, able to build good interpersonal relationship & work as part of a team.
