In the RAIL segment, Powerlines is a full service provider and offers its customers the whole range of services from Consulting and System Design to Installation and Maintenance.

Commercial Control Assistant - Doncaster

Your tasks:

  • Period cost reporting and cost analysis. Analysing weekly cost data against budgets.
  • Input and reporting through the business financial systems
  • Working on an external database system – Signal
  • Working with the company ERP system - BMD
  • Gathering Contract data and customer orders. Working closely with the head of commercial to ensure orders are risk reviewed and mitigated.
  • Familiar with building up re charge rates.
  • Creating Applications for payments and invoice back up
  • Familiarisation with rostering is essential and the ability to match to customer orders weekly.
  • Additional Administrative duties, as required to support the team.

Your profile:

  • GCSE Mathematics & English grade C or above.
  • Higher education qualifications in commercial or financial disciplines.
  • A good level of IT competency
  • Excellent maths skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • A creative approach to problem solving
  • An organised and methodical approach to tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • The ability to manage databases
