Procurement Contracts Manager, work from home, to £45k
This is a unique opportunity to work for a leading utilities company as they build a brand new cross specialism team focused on cost recovery and efficiencies.

You will undertake complex supplier analysis to identify exceptions to contracts and develop a detailed understanding of the commercial arrangements in order to identify financial and commercial opportunities. Collaboration is key - working with internal and external partners to support delivery of the plan.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carryout commercial contract audits, providing assurance that costs claimed are in line with contracted terms and conditions of the agreement.
• Liaise with key business partners gathering intelligence of contract performance, with the objective of defining the scope and objectives, seeking sign off prior to commencing a contract audit.
• Undertake and perform detailed data analysis of the costs claimed to ensure they are in line with the contractual obligations, including pricing schedules.
• To identify commercial control deficiencies, and financial wastage, highlighting any economical sustainable recommendations.
• Ensure that audit reports are produced accurately based on robust findings and supporting evidence.
• Liaise closely with the Commercial Contract Managers to discuss progress of audits, seeking guidance and direction on investigative leads.
• To formally present all commercial contract audit reports setting out all recommendations and recovery plans.
• Ensure that the audit programme tracker and dashboards are up to date, allowing for timely and accurate upward performance reporting.
• Support the development of a risk-based Commercial Contract Audit Programme

The successful candidate will be a commercially driven individual who can understand spend and risk and review costings across a diverse range of contracts and produce retrospective analysis and audit.

The offices are fully operational and there will be the flexibility to work in a hybrid working pattern or fully remotely if required.
