Commercial & Export Administrator - Redruth - £23,000

Trial Balance Consulting have been reengaged by one of our longstanding clients, a highly successful FMCG business which has grown significantly over recent years. The company seeks to recruit a Commercial & Export Administrator; a key role within the organisation that will work between the administration and finance function of the business. This is a full time, permanent position where the successful candidate will be required to attend one Saturday half day every three weeks (compensated with a half day of leave during the week).

Key Responsibilities To Include

This is a broad and interesting position where the successful candidate will quickly become an integral member of the business administration function. You’ll be working as part of a small but busy team and will play a key role in business adninistration.
  • Completion of supplier purchase documentation
  • Processing sales order forms
  • Preparing customer invoices
  • Customs declaration formalities
  • Administering dispatch documentation
  • Regularly update costing functions of ERP system
  • Debtor management
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
For this role we’re more focussed on personal qualities and general organisation skills than we are formal qualifications. Ideally, you’ll possess at least 12 months experience in a busy administration function (even better if experience gained within a manufacturing or FMCG environment), but ultimately, it’s the communication skills that matter. You’ll need to accomplished where IT skills are concerned, with solid experience of MS Office products and the aptitude to pick up a bespoke ERP. This is a busy role that will liaise regularly with colleagues across all areas of the business so a cheerful disposition and general "can-do" attitude essential.
